How Group Supervision Works
Welcome to the Group Supervision page. You can click on the video to the right to find out how Group Supervision works, if you prefer, or read on. We are happy you landed on this page and are guessing that you are interested in Group Supervision. This kind of supervision is a nice addition to whatever individual supervisory relationship you’ve got going on. Group Supervision is topic driven and allows for contributions by all group members, not just the group leader. In this way, you get more feedback, more ideas generated, more support than you do with individual supervision. If it takes a village to raise a child, then it takes a township to build a career. Here is yours!

Group Supervision meets via Zoom online. You do not need to download Zoom, all you need is a device and a good internet WIFI connection. When you register, a link will be provided, along with instructions on how to use Zoom. You click on the link and enter our Supervision room. That's it!
Group Supervision has 4 parts:
1. Check in
- Word: we go around the room and use a word to describe how we are currently feeling
- Win: what was your biggest success this week in 30 seconds
- Wish: what is something you wish was easier/more successful/less stressful or generally what you would like to strengthen
2. Case Presentation
For 30 minutes, a member of the group will present a case and the group will discuss it and brainstorm strategies
3. Discussion Topic
For 30 minutes, the group leader will present a topic for the group to discuss. Topics are published in advance so that group members can prepare their thoughts.
4. Wrap-Up:
- Word: each person gets a chance to give a new word for how they are feeling presently
