Best in conjunction with individual therapy, group therapy provides you with peer guidance and support. You can learn about a variety of tools and coping skills, and hear success stories or necessary troubleshooting to make them work from the people who are actively using them. You can also banish the feeling of isolation when surrounded by people with similar struggles, and connect to others in a meaningful bond. Often, people who commit to regular group attendance find they create close friendships and the group itself comes to feel like a family. Don't you want to feel this guidance and support?
